This commercial space for Adelaide client Tonkin Consulting has been designed to enable both casual and formal collaboration between staff and building a stronger work culture.

The 120 workstations fit into a 1500m2 floor plate, achieving the optimum mix of collaboration and break out spaces, meeting rooms, quiet rooms and focus pods.

The domestic feeling design was created to promote staff in feeling a level of comfort, pride and trust within their workplace. This was primarily achieved through wall panelling, gentle curved walls, soft tones with natural materiality and consideration of biophilic design through sunlight and greenery throughout.

Timeless flexible settings have been created which allow employees to decide where and how they’ll work whilst connecting the various disciplines in the organisation. The rebranding of Tonkin’s corporate image was successfully incorporated into the design throughout.
